Yes, this
is a momentous event. I think our poor baby has had less than 10 baths since she was born. I remember growing up in my family of 7 kids that when I was young, I had baths only on Saturdays. I used to think that was pretty gross and weird....now I understand why.

The third child, hmmmmmmm. I guess they teach you what is not totally necessary. When my mom was here I think Lucy was about a week old and I realized we hadn't even given her a bath since she got home from the hospital. Funny. With the other two I could't get them in the tub fast enough after the hospital.
Wednesday night and Saturday night are bathtimes around here- I swear I am just referring to the kids! -Erica
